Get Ready for New York Week

This week, I'm going back to New York for work and to play with all my favorite Yankees. As a result of my inevitable lack of productivity, I'm pre-posting this week all of my Best-Of posts about New York. Tuesday through Saturday, look for a pleathora of Big Apple themed awesomeness.

There will be some great "Top X" lists on things to do in New York City, for those who have never been, for those who have been LOTS of times, and even some random suggestions that may be relevent for those of you who live there. Tho, this may be a stretch.

Hopefully, this will allow me to spend my time in New York playing and being lazy, gathering tips for my new series of posts on New York. I'm thinking those posts should be titled

  • "Top 5 things to do in NY when you don't want to leave your house"
  • "Top 7 things to do in the bar underneath your apartment"
  • "Top 10 outfits to wear if you do NOT want to be photographed for the Sartorialist"

    and my personal favorite...

  • "Top 8 things you wish you would be doing in NY when you're working instead of doing anything fun."

Have a great week y'all, gimme a shout if you live in NY, otherwise, catch you on the flip side.

Looking forward to hear what makes the cut for "The top 7 things to do in the bar underneath your apartment".

Dearest BrianontheBass AKA Brian Rides A Trout AKA B Lee - You will make a guest appearance in that post, should it ever get written. Considering that the most amazing thing that was ever accomplished in Club Coco was the creation of an amazing nameless band with you and Dan. That girl still creeps around sometimes, but fortunately, doesn't remember who I am. I think that might be the #1 thing to do in that bar.

Thanks for sharing your experience..I am from Alaska and when ever I get time from my work i visit the New York city and enjoy a lot over there with my friends..there are so many things to do over there and I really enjoyed walking through the streets and see the people doing different activities..hey which is your favorite part over there?

@Jasmine - So glad you made it back to the blog. I'm not entirely sure what relevance your being from Alaska is, especially since your English leaves something to be desired, but thanks for the spam comment, nonetheless. My FAVORITE part of New York City (since you asked) is the proximity. Growing up in suburbia and then moving to Los Angeles has made me no stranger to spending most of my time in a car. I love the fact that everything is so close in New York. I love that even my friends that live several miles away from me, are just a train ride away. I love how accessible everything is. And LORD I love the walking. Walking around New York, is... well... so much fun. Be it, 3 AM drunk, 11 AM hungover or 5 PM in rushhour... I love it.
