A Chick with Baggage© is a personal blog documenting the journey of Abbey Hesser, an independent female traveler who quit her corporate 9-5 in search of something more from life. The goal of this site is to bring relevant travel information to those who are bored of the typical “travel tips” based travel blog. As a personal blog, information contained is always experienced firsthand. As such, the content is generally geared towards other independent female travelers or those who wish to begin traveling.

Text Ads are place on one dedicated Link page. These links can either be placed in the main content body or in the sidebar.
display ads
Display Ads come in the form of 125x125 and 280x280 boxes on page sidebars and 600x120 banners on static pages. Ads are accepted in JPEG and GIF form. Flash animation will be evaluated case by case. In addition, Display Ads may be placed within specific blog posts. If you are interested in placing an ad in a future or past post and would like a copy of the site editorial calendar (usually two months in advance) please contact ads@achickwithbaggage.com

I am available for Press Trips and rates can be negotiated. In most scenarios, I will travel in exchange for a predetermined number of blog posts, photo posts and/or destination specific reviews with all sponsorship to be fully disclosed.

In addition to placing display ads in blog posts, posts may be sponsored with a text link or a short paragraph at the end of the post disclosing the sponsorship.
At this time I am not accepting guest posts or homepage text link ads. However, if you feel I may benefit from either of these options, please feel free to contact me. This advertising plan is negotiable and flexible in hopes that we can reach a sponsorship option that benefits both the site and the advertiser.
payment
All payments are to be made via Paypal in US Dollars. For monthly Subscriptions, payments are to be made on the first of the month before ad placement. Yearly and quarterly discounts are only given for upfront payments. If for any reason, ads are taken down, a prorated refund will be given.
